Gebze: Woman stabbed 11 times by estranged husband

A woman was seriously injured in a stabbing attack at the Tatlıkuyu Vadisi recreational area in the Gebze district of Kocaeli. The victim, identified as F. D., was having a picnic with her daughter and relatives when her estranged husband, A. D., arrived at the location.

Despite a pre-existing court-ordered restraining order against him, A. D. engaged in a verbal dispute with F. D. that escalated into physical violence. The attacker stabbed the woman 11 times before fleeing the scene.

Emergency medical teams provided initial treatment at the site before transporting the victim to Darıca Farabi Training and Research Hospital. Local police have launched an investigation and are searching for the suspect.
