GEEKOM creates AI cluster using four mini PCs linked via USB4

GEEKOM has developed a distributed AI cluster using four A9 Mega mini PCs linked via USB4 cables. The configuration is designed to run the DeepSeek V4 Flash model for enterprise AI workloads, providing a local alternative to cloud-based processing.

Each mini PC is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, featuring 16 Zen 5 CPU cores and Radeon 8060S graphics. By connecting the four units, the cluster achieves a combined 512GB of RAM. The system utilizes Ubuntu, ROCm, and DwarfStar software to distribute the model across the hardware. This setup allows organizations to process sensitive data, such as source code and internal reports, within their own local infrastructure through an OpenAI-compatible API.
