Geely Auto enters Pakistan market through Bestway Group partnership

Bestway Group has officially introduced Chinese automotive manufacturer Geely Auto to the Pakistani market. The partnership, announced at a ceremony in Islamabad, establishes Bestway Automotive as the sole authorized distributor for Geely in the country, managing sales and after-sales support.

The collaboration includes plans for local vehicle assembly, with Bestway preparing its facility in Karachi to begin operations within the next few months. The initial launch features three specific models: the EX2, a compact fully electric hatchback; the EX5, a fully electric SUV; and the Starray EM-R, which utilizes range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) technology.

Irfan Sheikh, Group Managing Director for Non-Banking Businesses at Bestway Group, noted that the partnership combines Bestway’s local investment experience with Geely’s global automotive expertise.
