Geely launches Panda Mini Karting Edition to boost EV sales

Geely has introduced the Panda Mini Karting Edition to combat a sharp decline in its small electric vehicle sales. In the first seven months of the year, sales for the Geely Panda Mini line plummeted by 77 percent in the Chinese market.

To compete with rivals such as the Wuling Hongguang EV and Changan Lumin, the new Karting Edition features an aggressive design inspired by go-karts, including a decorative aerokit, 14-inch wheels, and a large rear wing. The 3.1-meter vehicle has also received a technical upgrade, replacing previous Gotion batteries with a 17.2 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery supplied by CATL.
