Geely and BYD showcase electrified vehicle lineups at Paris Motor Show

Major Chinese automotive manufacturers Geely and BYD are making significant moves in the European market, centered around the 2026 Paris Motor Show.

Geely Auto is set to make the European debut of its Monjaro EM-i, a D-segment plug-in hybrid (PHEV) SUV. Built on the GEA-Evo architecture and featuring the GEEA 3.0 electronic system, the Monjaro EM-i is positioned as a flagship model designed to balance high performance with low energy consumption. Geely will also showcase other electrified models, including the E2 compact electric car, the E5 electric SUV, and the Starray EM-i.

BYD is also expanding its presence with a major showcase of its electrified platforms. The company will present its Super Hybrid technology through models like the ATTO 2 DM-i and SEAL U DM-i, alongside a full range of zero-emission vehicles including the SEAL and SEALION 7. Additionally, BYD will feature the SHARK pickup and the DOLPHIN G DM-i, the latter being specifically developed for the European market. BYD's luxury brand, Denza, will also participate, showcasing the Z9GT and the high-performance electric supercar Denza Z, as well as the BAO5 hybrid SUV.
