Geely to debut Monjaro EM-i hybrid SUV at Paris Motor Show
Geely is set to debut the Monjaro EM-i, its first global midsize hybrid SUV, at the Paris Motor Show on October 12. The vehicle is positioned as a flagship model for the Chinese automaker, which also owns Volvo.
The approximately 4.8-meter-long SUV is built on the GEA-Evo architecture, a platform specifically designed for electrified powertrains to allow for flexible cabin packaging and multi-energy compatibility. It also utilizes the GEEA 3.0 electronic and electrical architecture.
Technical features include the EM-i Super Hybrid system and an intelligent e-AWD all-wheel-drive system, marking the first time such a system is included in one of the company’s global overseas models. The interior will feature Xingrui and Flyme Auto digital systems. While specific figures regarding power, efficiency, and European pricing have not yet been released, the launch is part of Geely’s broader expansion into the European electrified vehicle market.
