Gefion Group sells Holbæk building rights to Thybo

Gefion Group has completed the sale of building rights in the Fjordbyen development area in Holbæk to Thybo Ejendomsudvikling. The transaction follows six years of planning and involves 25,000 square meters of land intended for 269 terraced houses.

Construction preparation is scheduled to begin in autumn 2026, with the first residences expected to be ready for occupancy by autumn 2027. While Gefion Group managed the initial development and planning, Thybo Ejendomsudvikling will oversee the construction of the terraced houses. Gefion Group will retain 24 detached houses from the first stage, which are slated for sale in late 2026.

The long-term vision for Fjordbyen includes up to 3,000 homes. Gefion Group has acquired adjacent land for future stages, which could eventually accommodate up to 80,000 square meters of construction, including approximately 500 homes in the second stage.
