GEK TERNA establishes Euro Medium Term Note Programme
GEK TERNA has announced the establishment of a Euro Medium Term Note Programme (EMTN) to expand its financing options within international capital markets. The 12-month programme, which is renewable annually, follows the company receiving its first investment-grade credit ratings: BBB- from S&P Global Ratings and Baa3 from Moody’s.
Through this programme, the company will gain access to the eurobond market, leveraging the favorable conditions available to investment-grade issuers. The bonds issued under the EMTN are intended for professional investors in accordance with EU Regulation 2017/1129. Depending on market conditions and the group's financing strategy, the notes may be listed on the regulated market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange or other European trading venues.
The Base Prospectus for the programme was approved on October 14, 2026, by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) in Luxembourg. While the programme establishes the framework for future issuances, the company has not yet disclosed specific details regarding the amount of capital to be raised, interest rates, or a definitive issuance schedule.
