GEK TERNA receives 62 euro target price from Santander

Santander has issued an investment note regarding GEK TERNA, setting a target price of 62 euros and maintaining an 'outperform' recommendation. The bank views the current market reaction as a buying opportunity, citing strong third-quarter financial results from the group's operational motorways.

Santander noted that GEK TERNA's decision to forgo a planned eurobond issuance—despite having a twelve-month window to do so—demonstrates financial strength and protects shareholders. The group possesses abundant liquidity at the parent level, reducing the necessity for new debt.

The group's recourse gross debt is limited, with maturities spread evenly between 2027 and 2032. This debt consists entirely of corporate bonds with a nominal value of 1.3 billion euros. The next maturity is a 500 million euro senior unsecured bond due in July 2027. Additionally, the group's recourse liquidity is projected to reach 1.9 billion euros by the first half of 2026.
