GEK Terna selected for 693.5 million EUR road projects in Greece

GEK Terna has been selected as the preliminary partner for two major road construction projects in Northern Greece. These Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiatives involve a total budget of approximately 693.5 million EUR, including VAT.

The projects aim to improve regional transport connectivity through two specific developments: the upgrading of the road section between Thessaloniki and Edessa, and the construction of a new road corridor connecting Drama and the Amphipoli area. These contracts are expected to generate long-term revenue for the construction and energy group through toll and availability payments.

Following the announcement, the GEK Terna stock showed a controlled market response. Recent trading data indicated a closing price of 44.52 EUR, reflecting a slight daily decrease of 0.27 percent with a trading volume of approximately 9.94 million EUR.
