A cyclist died after a single‑vehicle crash on the Rijksstraatweg in Wilp. A 22‑year‑old motorcyclist from Arnhem was seriously injured after hitting a traffic‑control vehicle on the Batavierenweg. Additional fires were reported, including a berm fire in Tiel’s Park Vijverberg and a large landfill fire in Barneveld, both brought under control by fire‑fighters.

Other incidents recorded in the liveblog included a scooter fire on the Rijswijkseweg in The Hague, a stabbing in the Franklinstraat (Den Haag) where a woman was treated and released, and several minor vehicle collisions. No further casualties were reported beyond the cyclist’s death and the injured motorcyclist and motorist.
