Gemini Space Station stock falls amid analyst price target cuts

Gemini Space Station (NASDAQ: GEMI) shares experienced a significant sell-off during Monday trading, dropping over 10% as multiple investment firms issued downward price target revisions.

Several major firms adjusted their valuations for the company. Rosenblatt Securities lowered its target from $9 to $6, while Mizuho and Needham both reduced their targets to $6. Goldman Sachs lowered its target to $3.50 and maintained a sell rating. Despite these cuts, Rosenblatt, Mizuho, and Needham have reiterated buy ratings, suggesting potential upside from current levels.

The stock's decline follows a second-quarter report that showed a wider-than-expected loss of $0.89 per share on $45.5 million in revenue. Analysts have attributed the downward outlook to challenging conditions in the broader cryptocurrency market and declining transaction volumes.
