Gemona del Friuli students engage with Italian Constitution through rap workshop

Students in Gemona del Friuli participated in an interactive workshop titled ‘Giovani per la Costituzione 2026’ at the ISIS Raimondo D’Aronco auditorium. Promoted by the ‘B*sogno d’esserci’ network, the event used dialogue, storytelling, and rap freestyle with Dj Tubet and educator Yvette Angelina Corincigh to engage youth with the Italian Constitution.

The project aims to explore the significance of the Constitution in daily life and honor the 80th anniversary of the birth of the Republic, the Constituent Assembly, and the first women's vote. The 2026 theme, ‘I Volti della Repubblica’ (The Faces of the Republic), focuses on the men and women who drafted the document.

This workshop is the first step in a series of events leading to a ceremony on November 13, 2026, at the Teatro di Osoppo, where the Constitution will be presented to new eighteen-year-olds. The program also involves local mayors and students from various participating municipalities.
