Gen Con expands with major D&D showcase and new tabletop releases

The Indianapolis Convention Center will host Gen Con from July 30 to August 2, drawing fans and industry professionals from around the world. Wizards of the Coast has turned the Indiana Repertory Theatre into a six‑floor “D&D Tower,” featuring live shows, fantasy music, interactive dungeons, a keynote roadmap panel and previews of upcoming books.

Publishers are also using the convention to debut new games. Flatout Games will present its in‑development RPG "Whisperstone," aimed at families and new role‑players, while designer Dominic Crapuchettes will highlight his latest title "Nature" with special booth features. The event includes board‑game releases, crafts, live‑action role‑playing and a family‑focused Sunday program.
