Gen Precision launches automated DDR4 and DDR5 memory testing system

Gen Precision has introduced the GTK-SPT1, an automated DIMM final test system designed for DDR4 and DDR5 memory modules. The system aims to address the increasing testing demands driven by the growth of AI and server markets.

By automating the previously manual functional and burn-in testing processes, the GTK-SPT1 utilizes a robotic arm to handle two DIMMs at a time, supporting both Long-DIMM and SO-DIMM applications. The company reports that the automated batch operation can reduce operator handling time by approximately 97%. The system is capable of processing roughly two DIMMs per minute and includes automatic data recording to enhance traceability.
