Gene Simmons to receive IEBA Lifetime Achievement Award

Gene Simmons, co-founder, bassist, and vocalist of the rock band KISS, will be honored with the International Entertainment Buyers Association (IEBA) Lifetime Achievement Award. The presentation is scheduled for October 6 at the IEBA Honors and Awards Ceremony, held at The Pinnacle in Nashville, Tennessee.

Simmons is recognized for his role in transforming KISS into a global phenomenon and his influence on the live concert experience. The award ceremony serves as the conclusion of the IEBA’s 56th annual conference. In addition to Simmons, the event will honor entertainer Chubby Checker and talent buyer Gil Cunningham as part of the IEBA Hall of Fame class.

KISS was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014 and received the Kennedy Center Honors in 2025. The band has sold over 100 million albums worldwide throughout its career.
