General Andrea Fornasiero receives Provisino d’argento in Santa Fiora

The municipality of Santa Fiora has presented the Provisino d’argento to Air Force General Andrea Fornasiero. The civic honor, which was originally conferred in August, was delivered by Mayor Federico Balocchi during a recent ceremony.

General Fornasiero, the former Chief of Staff of the Italian Air Force and former president of the Council of the Military Order of Italy, received the award for his distinguished service to the Republic and the Armed Forces. Although not a native of the town, the general has maintained a long-standing connection to Santa Fiora, where he has resided for decades.

The ceremony was attended by the general's wife, Luigia Valdarnini, as well as local councilors Claudio Pantaloni, Andrea Olivi, and Maurizio Ranucci.
