The board of directors of General Dynamics has appointed Danny Deep as the company’s new CEO, effective January 1, 2027. Deep, who currently serves as the corporation's president, will succeed Phebe Novakovic.

The board expressed full confidence in Deep, noting his 25-year tenure with the company and his extensive operational experience in roles such as Executive Vice President of Global Operations and President of Land Systems.

Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, General Dynamics reported 2025 revenues of $52.6 billion and employs over 120,000 people worldwide. The company operates across several sectors, including executive aviation, naval construction and repair, combat vehicles, and weapons systems. Deep’s appointment is noted for his established relationship with the Spanish defense industry through the company's subsidiary, Santa Bárbara Sistemas.
