RENK and KNDS expand Leopard 2 contract by €130 million

RENK Group and KNDS Deutschland have expanded an existing contract for the Leopard 2 main battle tank and its vehicle family by approximately €130 million. The agreement includes the supply of HSWL 354 transmissions, TCS-354A control units, and G4MA11 gear selectors.

Deliveries under this extended agreement are scheduled to begin in 2029 and continue through 2032. The contract is intended to support the production ramp-up and the expansion of Leopard 2 fleets within Germany and other NATO member states.

RENK Group CEO Dr. Alexander Sagel noted that the Leopard 2 serves as the backbone of Western armed forces and that the extension reflects trust in the company’s technology and delivery capabilities.
