General Entertainment Authority wins Stevie Award gold

The Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA) has won the gold award at the 2026 Stevie Awards Middle East and North Africa. The recognition was awarded in the category of innovation in workforce training and development within the government sector.

The award recognizes the GEA’s integrated strategy for developing human capital in the entertainment sector. This includes initiatives such as the ‘Happiness Makers’ program, launched five years ago, which aims to prepare national talent to meet the evolving needs of the industry in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.

Abdulaziz Al-Humaid, Deputy CEO for Human Capital and Administrative Affairs, received the award in Istanbul. He noted that the achievement reflects the authority's commitment to investing in human capital as a strategic pillar under the guidance of GEA Chairman Turki Alalshikh.
