Sardinia archaeological heritage initiatives focus on Nuragic civilization

A series of cultural and scientific events across Sardinia are focusing on the valorization of the Nuragic civilization. The “Dialoghi Nuragici” initiative, organized by the Sardegna Terra di Nuraghi Association, includes scheduled meetings in Nuoro on October 23 and November 6 to discuss the archaeological legacy as a driver for regional economic and social development. Additional sessions are planned in Senorbì at the Domu Nosta Archaeological Museum, where experts will discuss the potential of UNESCO candidacy to create value for local communities.

In Oristano, the Antiquarium Arborense is hosting a lecture on October 25 regarding the relationships between Nuragic Sardinia and the Eastern Mediterranean during the Mycenaean period. These efforts aim to connect historical research with public debate and sustainable development through the protection of environmental and cultural assets.
