General Hospital storylines feature character alliances and new romantic pairings

Recent developments in the ABC daytime drama General Hospital highlight significant shifts for several central characters. Ava Jerome is facing potential social isolation following a failed alliance with Drew Cain. A scheme involving the sedation of Jack Brennan resulted in his death, after which Drew placed the deceased man's wallet in Nina's vehicle. Although Ava is aware of Nina's innocence regarding the crime, she has remained silent due to threats regarding the custody of her daughter, Avery.

Separately, the show is exploring a new romantic connection between Michael Corinthos and Jordan Ashford. Actress Tanisha Harper confirmed that producers are testing the chemistry between the two characters. This potential pairing follows the departure of Curtis Ashford to Pentonville, leaving Jordan to manage Aurora Media.
