General Motors investigates connectivity issues in 2027 Corvette
General Motors is investigating a technical fault affecting 2027 Corvette coupes and convertibles. According to service bulletin PIT6534A, affected vehicles may experience failures in Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity, navigation displays, and OnStar services.
The issue is persistent and does not resolve by restarting the vehicle. While GM engineers continue to investigate the root cause, Chevrolet dealers have been instructed to perform a temporary fix by resetting the Telematics Communication Interface Control Module (TCICM). This procedure involves disconnecting the module and its backup battery for five minutes.
A green light next to the OnStar button indicates a successful reset, but the problem may recur, requiring additional resets. The bulletin also notes that OnStar emergency calls may fail to connect if the system is offline during a crash.
