Italy sees various institutional and Carabinieri leadership changes

Various institutional changes and personnel transfers are occurring across several Italian regions. In Teramo, the Gaetano Braga State Conservatory met with the new Prefect, Beatrice Agata Mariano, to discuss continued cultural collaboration.

In the Carabinieri, several high-level transfers have been announced. General Nicola Massimo Masciulli is departing his role as Interregional Commander of the Ogaden to become the Director of the Antimafia Investigative Directorate in Rome. In Crotone, four officers, including Provincial Commander Colonel Raffaele Giovinazzo, are transferring to new posts in Calabria, Florence, Bologna, and Vicenza. Similarly, in Lucca, three senior officers are moving to new assignments, including a teaching role in Florence. In Agrigento, Colonel Federico Palmieri has been appointed as the new provincial commander, succeeding Colonel Nicola De Tullio.

In local administration, Francesco Cirillo, a former high-ranking police official with experience fighting the Nuova Camorra Organizzata, has been appointed as the Prefectural Commissioner for Capaccio Paestum following the resignation of the municipal majority. Additionally, the Carabinieri command in Orta Nova has been elevated from a Station to a Tenenza, with Sublieutenant Tommaso Di Mario taking command.
