Argentine youth athletes and dancers secure regional titles

Athletes and dancers from various Argentine localities achieved significant success in recent regional competitions.

At the U-16 and U-18 Provincial Tournament in Mar del Plata, the Escuela Municipal de Atletismo de General Pinto secured multiple medals. Joel Silva won the gold medal in the U-18 men's 110m hurdles, while Pilar Flamini earned silver in the U-16 javelin throw, reaching a personal best of 29 meters. Other participants from General Pinto, Germania, and Iriarte also qualified for several finals.

In the dance arena, the Mercedes-based studio ‘Vuela Alto’ competed in the ‘Star in Action’ contest in Ramos Mejía. The 42-person delegation won first place in the Youth Urbano Mix category, receiving a cash prize of 500,000 pesos, and secured runner-up status in the Infantil category. The group also received special distinctions for technique and choreography.
