General Ramírez: Adolescents investigated for filming cat torture

In General Ramírez, Entre Ríos, a group of adolescents aged between 14 and 16 has been identified after filming the torture and killing of a black cat. The teenagers reportedly shared the video of the act on social media, sparking widespread local indignation and a debate regarding animal cruelty laws and juvenile criminal responsibility.

The animal protection organization ‘Amigos de los Perros’ filed a formal complaint with the Prosecutor's Office after receiving the videos. According to the organization, the youths were identified through local residents and their school after the footage was circulated in school groups. The group has called for judicial action to ensure the perpetrators do not go unpunished.
