General San Martín: Body of 21-year-old found in lagoon

The body of 21-year-old David Carruego was discovered in a lagoon located within the grounds of Primary School No. 99 in the Zoológico neighborhood of General San Martín. The discovery was made by firefighters during a search operation in the fluvial area.

Following the discovery, medical personnel confirmed that the young man showed no vital signs. The Criminal Investigation Prosecutor's Office No. 2 has taken charge of the case, ordering the preservation of the scene and the involvement of the Scientific Cabinet to conduct forensic examinations.

Two individuals believed to be linked to the circumstances of the event have been detained to provide testimonial statements. They have not been formally charged or arrested at this stage. An autopsy is being conducted at the local hospital morgue to determine the exact cause of death and clarify the events leading up to the incident.
