General San Martín investigates conflicting land grants

The Municipality of General San Martín is facing a dispute regarding the allocation of three hectares of land located in front of Parque Agnesi. The Deliberative Council is currently reviewing files, plans, and titles to resolve conflicting municipal decisions.

Recently, the Council unanimously approved Ordinance 3262/26, granting the land to Atlético San Martín for the construction of a sports complex for its youth divisions. However, the club Tacurú claims that the same space had been granted for its use during the previous administration of former Mayor Jorge Giménez.

The investigation aims to determine how these two municipal decisions overlapped and whether a new land grant could be legally executed without first resolving the status of the prior usage agreement.
