Carabinieri Legion Sicily commander Ubaldo Del Monaco visits Caronia and Acquedolci stations

General Ubaldo Del Monaco, commander of the Carabinieri Legion Sicily, visited the Caronia and Acquedolci police stations in the Messina province. He was accompanied by Colonel Lucio Arcidiacono, the provincial Carabinieri commander, and Major Angelo Salici of the Santo Stefano di Camastra company.

During the visits, Del Monaco praised the officers’ professionalism, emphasized the stations’ role as pillars of legality and their social function in supporting vulnerable citizens, and urged continued action against crime. He concluded the tour with a stop at the Caronia cemetery to pay tribute to the late General Stefano Orlando.
