Generali has activated a specialized assistance service to manage claims resulting from intense rainfall and flooding across Spain, specifically targeting affected areas in Andalusia, Balearic Islands, Catalonia, Valencian Community, and Murcia. The service provides priority support and guidance for damages to homes, businesses, and vehicles.

To expedite the claims process, the company advises policyholders to document damages with photos and videos before cleaning, preserve affected goods for valuation, and keep receipts for urgent expenses.

Regarding coverage for severe weather, the Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros is responsible for compensating damages caused by extraordinary risks, such as atypical natural phenomena like floods. This public body covers claims for individuals and vehicle owners, provided they have existing insurance. For damages not classified as extraordinary risks, policyholders must refer to their private insurance policies to determine coverage.
