Generali Polska insures volunteers for nationwide river cleaning campaign

As part of the ‘Cała Polska na Kajaki’ initiative held in September 2026, volunteers across all 16 Polish voivodeships collected a total of 5 tons of waste from rivers and water bodies. The campaign, organized to mark World Rivers Day, consisted of 29 local events involving 541 participants.

Generali Polska served as the official insurer for the ‘Operacja Czysta Rzeka’ project, providing personal accident insurance (NNW) to the volunteers. This coverage included benefits for permanent health impairment, non-permanent injuries, medical costs, rehabilitation, and orthopedic equipment.

The nationwide campaign concluded on September 27 in Lublin, where 80 participants cleaned the Zemborzycki Reservoir and the Bystrzyca River, collecting 28 bags of trash along with tires and large-scale waste. Generali has been the official insurer for Operacja Czysta Rzeka since 2023 and recently extended its partnership for three additional editions.
