Generalitat de Valencia allocates €1 million for Erasmus+ grants
The Generalitat has announced a €1 million fund to supplement Erasmus+ mobility grants for the 2026-2027 academic year. The funding is intended for students within the Valencian University System and higher centers for artistic studies in the Valencian Community.
To mitigate rising costs of international mobility, the grants will provide monthly stipends for up to eight months. The amount varies by destination country: students studying in countries such as Germany, France, and the United Kingdom will receive €350 per month, while those in countries like Greece or Portugal will receive €300, and students in nations such as Poland or Romania will receive €250.
The regional Ministry of Education, Culture, and Universities aims to ensure that economic circumstances do not prevent students from accessing international academic, linguistic, and professional development opportunities.
