Generalitat Valenciana allocates aid for pharmaceutical treatments

The Generalitat Valenciana has approved collaboration agreements to manage subsidies for pharmaceutical and orthoprosthetic treatments for vulnerable groups in 2026. These agreements involve the Regional Ministry of Health and the Official Colleges of Pharmacists in Alicante, Castellón, and Valencia, as well as the Professional College of Higher Health Technicians of the Valencian Community.

Under Decree 206/2025, the aid is designed to compensate for health protection costs for specific groups, including single-parent families, pensioners, people with functional diversity, minors, and the unemployed. The total amount allocated for these subsidies is 44.27 million euros from the 2026 Generalitat budgets. The agreements will facilitate the ordering, dispensing, billing, and payment of these treatments through authorized establishments.
