Generalitat Valenciana introduces AI anti-fraud controls for exams

The Generalitat Valenciana is implementing new anti-fraud controls in its public employment examinations to prevent the use of unauthorized electronic devices. Starting this Thursday, the administration will deploy tools designed to detect sophisticated technology, including earpieces, smartwatches, and smart glasses that incorporate artificial intelligence.

The first application of these measures will occur during the 3/25 call of the 2025 OPE for the Generalitat’s superior legal corps. The initiative aims to uphold the principles of merit, capacity, and equal opportunity by ensuring all candidates compete under the same conditions and preventing technological advantages.

This move is part of a broader modernization effort within the Valencian public administration. Following this initial implementation, the Directorate General of Public Function plans to progressively extend these anti-fraud devices to other selective processes organized by the regional government.
