Generalitat Valenciana launches campaign against youth football violence

The Generalitat Valenciana and the Football Federation of the Valencian Community (FFCV) have introduced a new initiative titled ‘Fora de joc. Ja n’hi ha prou’ to combat violence in youth football. The campaign aims to eradicate insults, threats, and physical aggression both on and off the field, seeking to prevent such behaviors from becoming normalized in youth sports.

To maximize impact, the initiative features the participation of captains from seven prominent regional clubs: Valencia CF, Villarreal CF, Levante UD, Elche CF, CD Castellón, CD Eldense, and Hércules CF. These professional players serve as role models to promote a culture of respect among young players, coaches, families, and fans.

During the presentation, regional officials emphasized that youth football should serve as a tool for education and coexistence, teaching teamwork and the management of both victory and defeat. The campaign arrives as the region oversees a high volume of matches, with approximately 81,000 games played during the 2025-2026 season.
