Generation Z redefines wellness through mental health focus

Generation Z is redefining wellness, shifting the focus from the mere absence of physical illness to a proactive lifestyle centered on mental health. According to research conducted by Ipsos Doxa for Weber Shandwick Italia, nearly half of young people aged 22 to 30 view self-care as a personal priority and a long-term investment in their future.

Data indicates that mental well-being has become a primary concern, cited by 26% of respondents, surpassing physical health concerns at 23%. The study categorizes this demographic into three groups: 60% are ‘Aspirational,’ meaning they are well-informed but struggle to maintain consistent routines; 23% are ‘Involved,’ having already integrated prevention into their daily lives.
