Generative AI impacts human resource development for 80% of companies

A survey conducted by the Sanno Institute of Management and HR Research Institute reveals that approximately 80% of companies feel that the rapid spread of generative AI is impacting human resource development. Specifically, over half of the surveyed companies identified a need to revise skills, training systems, methods, management styles, and related institutional operations.

Despite this widespread recognition, actual implementation of these changes remains low, with only 15% to 19.4% of companies having taken action. The primary obstacles to reform are not necessarily a lack of budget or time, but rather a lack of clear corporate direction regarding AI utilization and uncertainty about how AI will redefine specific job roles and responsibilities.
