Genesis BBQ expands Vietnam footprint with new Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City stores

Genesis BBQ (GenieBBQ Group) announced the opening of three large‑format restaurants in Vietnam. A 50‑pyeong "BBQ Greenstar" outlet opened in the Pam‑Ban‑Dong area of Hanoi, while a 45‑pyeong "BBQ Mideuk" store opened in Ho Chi Minh City’s Phú My Hưng new‑town district and a 35‑pyeong "BBQ Taihoc" branch opened on Nguyen Tai Hoc street. The new sites bring the total number of BBQ locations in Ho Chi Minh City to three and raise the chain’s nationwide presence to more than 40 stores.

The venues target middle‑to‑high‑income consumers, offering signature fried‑chicken items such as Golden Olive Chicken and Secret Sauce Chicken, as well as Korean‑style dishes like tteokbokki, japchae and kimchi fried rice. Genesis BBQ said the openings reinforce its brand foothold in Vietnam’s key commercial districts and will support continued expansion across major Southeast Asian markets.
