Genesis debut album 'From Genesis to Revelation' slated for deluxe reissue

Four original members of Genesis—Peter Gabriel, Tony Banks, Mike Rutherford and guitarist Anthony Phillips—reconvened at Air Studios in London to discuss the upcoming deluxe reissue of the band’s first album, *From Genesis to Revelation*. The box set, scheduled for release on 9 October 2026 by Cherry Red, will be issued in multiple formats including a five‑CD/Blu‑ray collection, a two‑LP vinyl set and a remixed stereo version overseen by engineer Stephen W. Tayler, which reduces the original orchestral balance. The package also contains previously unreleased demos from 1967‑68, rare singles, a video interview with the four members, and an illustrated booklet.

The reissue marks the first time the founding lineup has gathered to reflect on the album’s 58‑year history, offering fans a comprehensive, newly mixed and remastered look at Genesis’s earliest recordings.
