Genesis G90 facelift expected to feature redesigned luxury interior
New renderings and spy shots of the upcoming Genesis G90 facelift reveal significant interior and exterior updates. A primary highlight is the driver's instrument cluster, which is expected to move away from a traditional horizontal panel in favor of three circular digital dials. This design, inspired by the Genesis X Gran Equator concept, aims to blend a mechanical, high-performance aesthetic with modern digital clarity.
The vehicle is also expected to feature an ultra-wide center display utilizing Hyundai Motor Group’s Pleos Connect software architecture, which is based on Android Automotive OS. This setup may mirror the layout seen in the GV90, providing a low-profile, expansive screen for navigation, media, and vehicle status.
Other anticipated changes include a shift to an electronic column shifter behind the steering wheel, potentially freeing up space on the center console for dual wireless charging pads and refined wood paneling. Exterior updates may include a ‘wing face’ design, slimmer MLA two-line lamps, and the potential addition of a hybrid powertrain and Highway Driving Assist (HDP) technology.
