Genesis GV80 featured in film ‘The Intern’

Genesis has announced that its flagship SUV, the GV80, is featured in the film ‘The Intern’. In the movie, the vehicle serves as a key setting for character development and dialogue between the protagonists.

The brand intends to use this cinematic appearance to showcase the GV80’s design and luxury features to audiences across nine Asian countries, including Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Singapore. This move is part of a broader strategy to expand brand touchpoints through cultural content such as films and exhibitions.

Additionally, Genesis revealed plans to launch the GV80 Hybrid in South Korea next month. This first hybrid model for the brand will utilize a next-generation 2.5 turbo hybrid system, offering improved power and torque compared to the standard 2.5 turbo model, alongside features like Stay Mode and predictive control systems.
