Geneva police seize over 314 kg of drugs and dismantle three networks
The Geneva Cantonal Police have seized more than 314 kilograms of narcotics between July 1 and mid-September 2026. The operations, involving the criminal police and gendarmerie, led to the dismantling of three drug trafficking networks and the arrest of several suspected individuals.
Investigations into these networks were part of extensive long-term efforts, with some inquiries dating back to 2025. Police activity focused on various locations, including roads and the airport. Authorities noted that drug trafficking methods are evolving, specifically highlighting the use of social media for recruitment and instant messaging services to organize deliveries.
