Geneva University Hospitals join Movember to promote men's health

The Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) have joined the Movember movement to promote men's health and break social taboos. Throughout November, the HUG urology department is offering free screening consultations for various conditions, including prostate cancer, testicular tumors, benign prostatic hypertrophy, and fertility issues.

To support the initiative, the hospital will provide a barber every Monday to trim moustaches. Other activities include an educational exhibit featuring a giant prostate model and a symposium on fertility and reproduction scheduled for November 19. Additionally, an information stand will be available at the Balexert shopping center on November 7.
