Genki launches Manta gaming controller with built-in display

Genki has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter for the Genki Manta, a specialized gaming controller featuring its own operating system, Manta OS. The device includes a 2.79-inch built-in display, allowing users to adjust settings such as trigger sensitivity, dead zones, and haptic feedback directly on the controller without external software.

Technical specifications for the Genki Manta include a wired polling rate of up to 8,000 Hz and a 1,000 Hz wireless rate via 2.4 GHz. The controller utilizes TMR sticks and Hall effect triggers, offers a battery life of approximately 150 hours via Bluetooth LE 6, and features 16 MB of internal memory for installing applications within Manta OS.
