Genkiya launches new mobility supplement for Respect for the Aged Day
Genkiya, a health food mail-order specialist, has launched a new supplement called ‘Locomo All-in-One no Chikara’ to coincide with Respect for the Aged Day in Japan. The product is designed to support mobility by combining five key components—cartilage, muscle, bone, ligament, and ‘softness’—with multivitamins and minerals.
Key ingredients include patented non-denatured golden proteoglycan and ootaitadori. The supplement aims to support the physical health of seniors, addressing concerns such as changes in walking speed. To celebrate the launch, Genkiya is offering a 44% discount on a 12-month set (six bags) through Rakuten, priced at 9,980 yen.
Additionally, as part of the Rakuten Super Sale running until September 11, 2026, most of the company’s supplements are available at a 30% discount. A recent survey conducted by the company indicated that approximately 80% of respondents noticed a decrease in the walking speed of their parents or grandparents, highlighting the demand for mobility-focused health products.
