Gennaro Spinelli performs peace concert in Zagreb

Italian violinist Gennaro Spinelli, an artist of Rom heritage, gave a concert in Zagreb, Croatia, as part of a program promoting peace. He performed with the Alexian Group and the European Orchestra for Peace, directed by Nicola Russo, and was joined by first‑violinist Marco Bartolini. The audience responded with a standing ovation and long applause.

The event adds to Spinelli’s extensive international itinerary, which includes more than 1,500 concerts in over thirty countries, appearances at venues such as La Scala, San Carlo, La Fenice and Carnegie Hall, and performances before three popes. In 2018 he was named ambassador for Rom art and culture by the International Romani Union.
