Geno Smith holds statistical advantage over Packers defense

Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon acknowledged that New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith has a history of performing well against his defenses. Gannon noted, “He always plays well, for whatever reason, against me or us or whoever I’m with.”

Statistical data shows that in four career games where Smith faced a Gannon-coached defense, Smith was undefeated with a 4-0 record. During those matchups, Smith maintained a 70.8% completion rate, totaling 895 passing yards with six touchdowns and two interceptions.
