Genoa CFC signs Kingsley Ehizibue on free transfer

Genoa CFC has officially announced the signing of Kingsley Ehizibue on a free transfer. The 31-year-old right-back, who holds Netherlands and Nigeria nationality, joins the Serie A club on a multi-year contract after previously playing for Udinese.

Ehizibue brings significant experience to the squad, having previously spent four seasons with Udinese between 2022 and 2026. During his time in Italy, he made over 115 appearances in Serie A. His professional career also includes stints in the Dutch Eredivisie with PEC Zwolle and the German Bundesliga with 1. FC Koln.

Genoa's Chief of Football, Diego Lopez, noted that the signing completes the squad's options for wide defenders, highlighting Ehizibue's athletic abilities and deep knowledge of the Italian league. The player has completed his medical examinations and is expected to join team training shortly.
