Genoa International Boat Show to feature luxury yacht growth

The 66th edition of the Genoa International Boat Show, scheduled for October 1–6, 2026, is expected to feature over 1,000 vessels, 215 new releases, and exhibitors from 45 countries. Data indicates a growing trend in the high-end segment, specifically with an increase in large boats between 35 and 50 meters and a 14.1% rise in the average size of the three largest units per segment.

Scanner Marine has announced it will present three models from its Envy maxi-rib range at the event: the Envy 1500, Envy 1200, and Envy 1100. The Envy 1500 is the largest at 15.20 meters, capable of accommodating up to 18 people with engine capacities reaching 2,400 horsepower. The Envy 1200 measures 12 meters, while the Envy 1100 serves as a more compact, sporty option.

Claudio Guarascio, President of the Associazione Costruttori Nautici dei Due Mari, noted that the market's focus on quality and size reflects a concentration of value in the luxury sector. He also highlighted the potential for the Calabria region to develop its nautical tourism and production chain by improving ports and services to match the growing demand for high-quality yachting destinations.
