Genoa: Motorcyclist injured in Sopraelevata collision

A 40-year-old motorcyclist was injured following a collision with a car on the Sopraelevata in Genoa. The incident occurred shortly after 1:00 PM in the direction of the west, just before the helical junction.

Preliminary investigations suggest the scooterist struck the rear of the vehicle ahead. The impact threw the rider onto the asphalt. While the motorcyclist suffered abrasions and limb pain, medical reports indicate his condition is less severe than initially feared. He was transported to the Villa Scassi hospital emergency room. The driver of the car was uninjured. The accident caused significant traffic delays extending as far as Foce.
